too many problems car going to the dealer monday

Chevy hhr problems
1. Drivers inner door panel arm rest broken
2. When starting the engine sometimes the engine rattles or knocks
3. Front struts are leaking
4. When hitting bumps in the road the front end rattles.
5. Getting bad gas mileage. Getting about 250 miles on a tank of gas.
6. When driving on the highway the back of the car sways to much
7. Possible bad shocks on the back
8. The transmission shifts hard .
9. The engine has no power when going over a overpass or when trying to pass another car.
10. The right front speaker rattles .
11. There is a rattle in the headliner right above the driver head.
12. When driving the car at slow speeds the front hubs are making noises

It could be worse

You have a 2007, so at least should still have power train warranty that will cover SOME of this stuff. Good luck. Did all this just happen, or have you been saving it up for a while?

i bought the 6 year 160.000 mile warranty so its all covered

Strange to me how random these cars are...... your Black 2LT (if you are referring to the HHR in your sig) was made the day before mine was and mine doesn't show any of these problems. Hope you get them all sorted out and warranty covers everything.

the car is in the shop and they are talking about replacing the engine and the tans i hope it all goes well..

That is what has made me wonder too. I see some of these have many issues and so many other with no issues.

What is the factor that makes them different?

That would be mine....... So Fridays are the good days now?




Actually his was built on a Wednesday and mine a Thursday if the calender I checked was correct, but with modern assembly plants being what they are this probably has nothing to do with it.

There's a thread here on the forum, ask and one of the moderators looks it up using the last few digits of your VIN
