I too use the "sleeper protocol" and keep the level elevated about 2-2 1/2" above the recommended level with no issues.

front engine trike: unless you are referring to the Tri-Glide, (copied from the Servi-Car) I haven't seen what you've described then. But it will not be solely be built by H-D.

Sorry I even brought it up sleeper, turns out the e-mail I got was from someone who didn't know the H-D Penster was canceled years back, they thought it was something coming for 2012.
