That appears to be the case, very weak battery voltage, should be 12.6 volts or higher
That will effect the RCDLR readings of the TPMS sensors

OldBlue: Thanks for the reply. I did see the low voltage. When the engine is running its at 14.7 volt. I guess I will get a new battery. Question would the RCDLR not read the sensors when the engine is running? Or does it only read when the ignition is turned on before you start the engine?

donbrew: Thanks for the reply. I'm not understand what exactly to do the fix the issue? My scanner is not bi-directional and only has a few reset functions like TPMS, ABS, throttle body relearn, oil reset and a few others but there is no RCDLR. So what would you recommend that I can do without taking it to a dealer?
Thank you all.

RemoteControlDoorLockReceiver is the module that receives radio signals from the fob and TPMS.
The issue seems to be somebody edited the RCDLR tire placard to expect more than 36.25 psi on the RF at least. Solution would be to find whoever did it and have them fix it.
If you can put the RCDLR into learn mode the scanner is bi-directional.

The TPMS relearn is done key on engine not running parking brake engaged. So the battery voltage would be low.

The way to reliably check the actual battery voltage is at the terminals with everything off.

Good Morning donbrew: Thanks for explaining the issues with the RCDLR. I believe when I took the tire to the local garage to replace the wheel sensor I told the owner an older gentleman just change the sensor, he said that he has never had any luck using his scan tools I don't think he likes the new cars and all the computers. Kinda old school guy. He might have tried it and changed something. Well, water under the bridge so I'm on my own

I did some investigating today, of course in the past posts I stated the car when I purchased did not have the original gm FOB's. what I have is a Python System that locks the doors and remote starts the HHR. I checked the PRO codes in the glove-box and the HHR did not come with remote start. So question is the Python in any way connected to the RCDLR probably not so then the only thing it is responsible for is the TPMS system?

I see the Tech II with Candi module will have access the the RCDLR to allow reprogramming the Placard for desired tire PSI? From my investigation there are kind of pricey. Would know of a more reasonable scanner that could recommend? I'm torn....my DIC reads the correct pressure and locations but the TPMS warning system has been edited. Putting a piece if black tape over the light just feels wrong!
Thanks again for your help!

Go to https://www.pythoncarsecurity.com/Su...nersGuide.aspx for a manual that is for whatever Python unit you have. I got no clue how it was installed.
There is a way to use a laptop and a daily subscription to techline to program the modules. I don't know anything about that.

Good Morning donbrew: Thank you again for setting me in the right direction on a solution to me TPMS issue. As I discussed not a fan of dealers and would prefer to find a solution on my own. After some homework I found Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF scan tool. This unit not only sets the sensor locations and reads the sensors serial number, but also reprograms the placard information. All kinds of videos on YouTube about its capabilities.
When I got the scanner the placard read that the tire pressure was programmed to 49 psi and not he correct 35 psi. Using the scanner I was able to reprogram to the correct pressure and the system is now correct no lights and no DIC warnings.
The scanner is available all around the internet. I found the best prices on EBay from $99 to $149 dollars. Purchasing the scanner is way cheaper than you would have paid at the dealer and with no hassles. Plus the scanner covers like 71 car manufactures and has life time free updates. So another good tool in the toolbox.
I wanted to respond because too many times searching the internet for solutions especially in forums someones problems are addressed with great solutions, but most of the time they never any come back with was the problem fixed.
Thanks Again!
