TPMS loses info and then regains

I have two TPMS sensors that come and go. They go off and on real quick, but this throws the service light on and it stays on. Usually it takes about 20 minutes of driving or so before it happens.

These are two brand new Dorman sensors too.

Car is an 08 SS Auto...

Any ideas would be great!

Defective sensors?

Really good tire shops and your dealer should have the equipment to check them out.

It's entirely possibly you got a pair of duds right out of the box.

The folks at Dorman stand behind their stuff, so if they do turn out to be bad, they should replace them without a big hassle.

Took it to a dealer...

They had a hard time getting them to scan, but one done appear to work for awhile.

Not sure if it is a computer thing or truly bad sensors.

Bummer if both are bad!
