I had the same problem with my 08 but mine was on the left rear. I had to replace the sensor and it has corrected the problem. I was able to change the sensor without removing the tire completely from the rim but it was a pain. when I have to replace another one it will go to the local tire shop.

Assuming you have to take the tire of the rim when you put the Schrader TPMS in? My RR just failed at 23K but I'm out of warrenty (bought it 3 years ago this July) I need new tires by fall, I'll order 4 of these (HHR Specific) and have them installed over the factory.

This is a stupid problem and though I know the general non-enthusiast public is somehow safer by this rule, the government should mandate that this be a lifetime warrenty. STUPID chinese made rubber crap. After this car, I'm done with GM.

Can I just drive this until I replace the tires or is it going to alert Big Brother and disable my car?
