Traction control light and rough shifting

Traction control light and rough shifting
I just changed my air filter yesterday. I have a 07 with the 2.4 and 196K. On my way to work this morning the car started to hesitate and the traction control light came on. Also the car is now shifting rough. Did I do something wrong? I double checked everything after changing the filter. Any suggestions/solutions ?

x2 - unplug it from the housing and plug it back in, making sure it is properly locked into place.
Location: on the drivers side of the pipe between the air filter housing and the throttle body
