NLS=No Lift Shift

Manual Page 2-32
No-Lift Upshift (SS Models)
If the vehicle has the 2.0L turbo engine and manual
transmission, it has the capability of No-Lift Upshifts.
This feature maximizes vehicle acceleration by allowing
you to shift the transmission to a higher gear without
taking your foot off the accelerator

Satisfied overall, and hopefully for years to come!

Now that it's fixed and staying that way, I REALLY LOVE the short shifts. A short shifter is that rare modification that's instantly noticeable every time I drive the car. The weighted type R (regular size, not their big one, because my hands are small) knob helps it go into gear relatively smoothly (not as smooth as my S2000, but that's a $4000 transmission) and fits my hand much better than the bloated stock knob did. There's still a high-pitched almost clicking noise when shifting that sounds weird, but since it's not there any other time, I can just ignore it.

I'm happy to hear that the dealer was able to fix their mistake. It really does make a great difference in the HHR SS. Happy to hear that you like your new TWM shifter setup!

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact us! We're always happy to help :)

Thanks,

Patrick

It's good to see a supporting vendor supporting their products, especially when the problem wasn't with their product.

TWM asked me to post this link

Hi Harlan,

I just had the chance today to go over your thread, and there is no link
posted in the thread. If you could just either edit the original post to
add a link to the product on our site, or post a new reply with a link,
we'll go ahead and issue your refund.

Thanks,

Patrick
