My wife dropped the car off on Monday and they called today to say it was ready. They told her they did a pressure check on the cooling system and didn't find it to be an issue.

They said the leak was transmission fluid from one of the sensors. Anyone know what sensor this may be on a manual tranny? They left the car for us to pick up when they were closed tonight, but unfortunately they didn't leave a receipt or any other paperwork.

There is a Front Wheel Speed Sensor and a Vehicle Speed Sensor.

I received the invoice today for the work performed. It was the speed sensor. I'm guess the speed sensor is in the tranny???

I honestly had no clue. Thanks for the info. This is the first new GM I've owned. I guess I was used to the Taurus I had....
