VALVE COVER GASKET REPLACEMENT

Broke all three plastic clips in the valve cover
How do you remove the broken parts?
Do you replace the plastic clips or is there a better alternative?

Valve cover bolt grommets. Do these need to get pressed back into the valve cover or is torque the bolt suffice?

 

What plastic clips? Do you mean the ones that hold the wires and tubes? A picture might help.
Just press all of the rubber bits into the slots then torque.

 

There are replacement tie wraps available for those plastic clips.
I push the grommets into their place then install the valve cover and torque to 89 inch lbs
