VUE V6 P0010

I'm replacing my actuators soon after reading this thread. Looking at a relative's 2009 Saturn Vue and it's giving the same P0010 code...
Know anything about them?

It is the V6 - 3.5 - it "stumbles" when increasing load (accelerating or uphill) at RPM's lower than 1800.

I was going to start looking at plugs, wires and coil packs...

These Code numbers are "generic" they mean the same thing from car to car.

Awesome! Are they difficult to find on the engine (for replacement?)

I'm guessing there are two of each on a V-6?

Having trouble getting the plastic engine cover off to 'inspect'. The oil filler neck is where it seems to be sticking... Any hints/suggestions?

The HHR doesn't have a V6, so I can't offer direction

Same code reading on 2009 Saturn Vue??

Sorry OldBlue, I had changed the subject to a 2009 Saturn Vue because it has the same code as my HHR... The Vue has a V6

Different car, engine, platform, electronics etc. The code numbers are just standard numbers used for any car that has a OBD II.
If that Vue had a 2.4 Ecotec, then the code and it's fix may be similar to the HHR. Since it's a V6, I would say check out the Vue forums.

Ah, then perhaps this will help!

Saturn Workshop Manuals > VUE FWD V6-3.6L Hybrid (2009) > Engine, Cooling and Exhaust > Engine > Actuators and Solenoids - Engine > Variable Valve Timing Solenoid > Component Information > Service and Repair > Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valv

Moved as to its own thread under Problems section, rather than hijack the How-to thread with non-HHR questions.

Sorry, I thought that my curt answer would shut it down.

No problem donbrew. He sounded a bit desperate so I moved the posts rather than just delete them. VUEs are about as common as Ferraris in most places, like this forum.
