I would greatly appreciate seeing any pictures of the drain hole locations.
I live in Florida and during heavy rains my frony floorboards are flooded.

Do a search for sunroof drain location. I posted a picture before that shows them.

Scrolling through 401 posts is too much work?

Hello , if anyone is still here . A 2006 LT here . I had the butyl seal leak problem several years ago and repaired myself . Recently I had some moisture in passenger side front and rear . Figured it was the problem again , so I removed it and re sealed again . Well I now have more water / moisture than original . So I came here and read most of the 41 pages and went out and used 22 PSI of air on sunroof drains and couldn't tell if they were plugged . Then I found cargo area was quite wet also . I pulled the plastic roof panel right in front of hatch because droplets were coming down right side interior panel . It would appear that maybe water was getting in through loose seal where wiring grommet passes through upper body . So I have cleaned that and sealed it . I read somewhere a ways back in this thread about someone having a body seam leak ? Our car was hit in right rear quarter panel a couple years ago while parked and a very reputable body shop did the repairs (over $7,000 ) . I am hoping it isn't from their repairs . The passenger side rear seat floor it soaked , can water pass from front seat to rear ? The car is almost always parked with front slightly uphill . I guess I should feel lucky that we haven't had any warped rotors , just total transmission failure at 53,000 miles . Rebuild was only $3,200 and as luck would have it , it failed right in our neighborhood . I didn't see any diagrams or picture showing locations of sunroof drains , any help or link would be appreciated . Is there a flap or check valve on the drains ? As of now the car is parked out in the rain . I may have to take it out of service and move it to the motorhome's carport . I also read something about an A/C grommet in the firewall ? If so where is that located . Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

Great Googly Moogly, a nine year old thread still proves its worth.:thumb:

Thanks for link Fireman ! That is just the ticket . Have a feeling I may have a tubing disconnect between right rear sunroof drain and rear of car . Passenger side rear seat floor seems to have more water than anywhere else . Also water dripping out on interior almost exactly where the 5 line (on sketch) ends . This is area where the inner and outer quarter panels were replaced after a nice lady in a Lincoln Town Car smashed into it while parked , knocking it about 4' sideways . Hope I can find time today to remove some panels and see if I can find the leak before it becomes a mobile mushroom farm . Thanks !

Well I finally removed headliner today . That was fun . My guess was correct I think . Looks like body shop repairs several years ago made the right rear drain tube to tight while re assembling . I had been getting a tiny amount of a musty smell and could never pin point it for last 3 years . Well it must have been almost pulled out and maybe during super hot weather this last summer pulled all the way out . Anyway , headliner is drying out and tomorrow I will put my RV heater in it and bake it dry and determine if I need to clean anything with a mild bleach solution . Following are pictures of the disconnected tube and second picture is of ripped out of headliner velcro I didn't know was there . Thanks agin for assistance .
