Thank you
can i adjust the water pump chain tensioner? In videos it looks like automatic tensioner. The AC Delco pro water pump seemed to tight for me debating on whether to swap out the water pump again or try to adjust the water pump chain tension. Thoughts/suggestions?

It's an automatic tensioner. The pump is driven by the balance shaft chain. To reset the tensioner, you'd have to pull the crank pulley(One time use bolt) and the timing cover. You probably have to pull the timing chain and balance chain also.

Yes, I used the sprocket holder kit and remained in the same position. The water pump chain just seemed to tight. I was wondering if I could adjust the water pump chain tension or is it automatic. If automatic will it reset with a few rotations of the motor.

From thread line #4, it’s automatic

meant to say water pump chain, not water belt chain

I don't know how it could change if you didn't replace the sprocket.
