Wear/OpenBubbles above the radio unit! (With Pictures)
But this plate is grey like my radio, isn't it? (See Picture below). Is this the color the waterfall normally comes out of factory?
What do you think how much I would have to pay for a professional painting of this thing?
I think a grey waterfall wouldn't fit in my car.
A plate should be available, either online or at the dealer, for the tan (cashmere?) interior.
The textured outside area will be the same color as the dash. The smooth part (the part that you are having problems with right now) will be a grey color. If I can remember correctly the grey is a slightly different grey than the radio and air control (it is the same grey as the bezel around the window switches.
I think the reason the previous owner did this work was because they didn't like the look of the grey and wanted it to match the dash.

a lil off subject...but seeing the factory head unit and the waterfall same color as the dash, sure brings back memories....after you get used to seeing your painted interior and for those that have aftermarket head units...it's kinda wierd to see the factory stuff. ha ha
ok sorry bout that...back to the topic
as far as the scratches on the plasitc there, it's cheaper just to mask off the area where you don't want paint on the waterfall, sand down the waterfall just a bit, clean it all up, and shoot it with some paint. let dry and maybe some clear. put it back and viola, 2 birds with one can of paint, eh...stone.

Hey!
Just a litte update/new question.
I removed the waterfall and checked my part number - it's 15844003. I tried to find it via google (e.g. gmpartsdirect.com) but nobody knows this number.
Does anyone has an idea where I could this part for a cheaper price than at the Chevy dealer?
Thanks!
