Weird things about your hhr

Just wondering what weird quirks hhr owners have had.

I've had a few.
1: One time, in winter, sort of, not very cold; around 20-30F. Car would start, but would not allow shifter to come out of park.
Put in second key, started, was then about to shift out of park. This was after trying the 1st key a couple times. Never a problem since.
2: Right fog light appeared to have burned out, probably 6+ years ago. Didn't care to replace it as I barely used them. About a week ago, pushed the button for SnGs and lo and behold, the right fog light now works.
Battery has been replaced during this time, no wiring has been changed at all.
3: why on earth did the designers not put a switch for the dome light up front where the driver can reach it? You have to be reed richards to get to it from the front.
4: rear washer fluid leaked into back end once. Never done it since, hose is fine.

Anyone else had goofy head scratchers?

3. You can't reach the dimmer knob on the dashboard? Oh it's a 2006, thery changed that.

You just need to evict the gremlins in the car. Loose wires and spilled soda pops explain the rest.

I could see loose wire with fog light, but nothing else. No spilled soda either! The seats in this car don't need any help looking stained, water does that just fine! Forgot that 1 till now. Water makes the seats look stained. I've had a lot of cars, none have ever had quirks like this.

I'm not sure if this is a quirk or not, but one thing (for me there aren't many, I love my HHR) that I find annoying is the difference in fan speed/noise from the first setting to the second. ON a cold morning I sometimes need a little more oomph from the fan, but when I bump it up to the second second speed it sounds like a leaf blower lol. It's crazy how much louder the second fan speed is compared to the first.

The soda pop I mean is into the shifter mechanism. Unless you forgot to put your foot on the brake pedal, that has happened!

IDK, I pretty much like mine. I wish it was RWD, & the engine wasn't sideways. Ya know, just small stuff like that.

Nope, no soda in the shifter, and yes, pushed the brake! I always try to look for the simple fixes first. You learn that after spending 20 minutes trying to kick start a motorcycle only to find you left the kill switch off!

That rear washer thing is odd; if the tube is good where did the water come from? Usually, the fluid freezes and it bursts, the the water showers the inside of the window.

I wonder if the fogs are after market is it a 2LT? They do have separate grounds.
