Flywheel port cover?

Flywheel port cover?
I was changing my oil today, letting the car run for a few minutes to warm up the oil first. I was lying on the ground with my hand under the car feeling the oil pan, noticed air blowing on my hand. I shut the car off and inspected a little closer. There is a nice square access hole for the flywheel gear right there. Shouldn't there be some sort of cover or rubber plug covering this? If so does anyone have a part number so I can order one up?

@coolzzy, if you don't want to contact your local Chevrolet dealership's service/parts department about this, you can provide me with your first and last names along with the VIN of the vehicle and I can see what I can find for you. Please, feel free to provide me with this information via PM.

Should there be a rubber plug to cover this or is it just an open access port or vent? Seems like moisture or road grit could get up in there otherwise.... anyone stick there head down there and confirm this?

FWIW. I have an SS w/5spd which I know is a different transmission than the regular HHR. Yes, I went out and stuck my head under there for a look because of the original post! No inspection hole on the bottom of mine.
But,there is a hole on the top side of the housing, with a plastic cover. Looking down from the drivers side, it is about the 10-11 o'clock position on the bell housing. Plus it's kinda hidden under a wire harness.
So yes, mine has an inspection hole, and yes, there is a cover, plug.
