Windshield washer fluid sensor

Windshield washer fluid sensor

Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the windshield washer fluid sensor?

My fluid tank goes completely dry and there is no light on the dash???

Is it the sensor? Fuse? Dash light?

Hmm. I guess they just threw a sensor in the washer fluid bottle for fun? 😀

Honest, they don't have one, just a tank and the pump assembly...

Instead you have to rely on the usual indications of low washer fluid, like nothing coming out of the nozzles, and that humming sort of "snerfing" noise as the pump is sucking air.

I went out to check mine, no fluid level sensor, but I did need to top it up! The blue fluid not visible was a dead giveaway, please if you have a sensor take a picture of it and post it here.
GM has done stranger things!

Ohh, I guess I thought number 20 there was a sensor and that the pump was below where I could not see.

My bad.

No biggie Buddy, kinda glad they don't have level sensors really, the sensors tend to get wonky as a rule and then you're left staring at a warning light...all the bloody time.
