Yeah. It's got me perplexed. Someone suggested a parasitic drain but the only 2 things I have addedare (1) an aftermarket setero but bught an interface that snapped into the factory harness. The only splices were the speaker wires and (2) I have asmall Cobra c/b I keep turned off (just use it when the roads are bad). It's hpt wire is direct to the infuse box (the interior lights as best as I recall). Both of those things have been in the car for about 3 years.

There's no way your battery held 12.6 volts under load. I'm done here.

Sounds like a dead cell in the battery. 12.4 volts is a dead battery, not enough to power the computers and the starter.

If connecting a jumper to the fuse box posive make joy doesn't it make sense to check the connections on the BATTERY POSTS.
I'm feeling invisible, again.

If you used an adapter for the radio why did you need to do anything in the fuse box? I would check my work there.

It's the CB radio that's wired in the fuse block.

No, I was just pointing out to donbrew that the radio was not wired into the fuse block.

Well then, why not use the "12 volt auxiliary power outlets" (cigar lighters) instead of mucking with the BCM? Safer to splice into those wires or use a cig adapter.
Unless you have the Smoker's Package they are NOT cigar lighters and will cause problems if you attempt it.
