Auto zone will do a free charging system test for you also.

 

Just as a side note on batteries. I've had batteries that go bad within six months to year sometimes even if they have 2-3 year warranty. Within a year I've had some of them that had a bad cell or bad set of cells. What I've learned is it can cause weird things to happen especially with a significant temperature change.
