For 5 hours I have been trying every security system reset I can find to get this dang thing to start. 30 minute "Relearn" thing, the security system light never goes off. Unhooked the negative battery terminal for and hour, nothing. What gives with this POS? Anybody got a clue. We're stuck in the middle of nowhere and can't seem to catch a break here.

Without a little more info like:
It won't do anything when the key is turned, it just clicks, the lights don't come on at all, it "tries" to turn over, I'll just take a general guess.

You could have a low voltage/battery condition. Have you tried to jump start it?

Dash lights come on, windows roll down, everything works except when you turn the key... Nothing. Security system seems to have shut down on me...

Are you using the same key that you always have used? Have you tried to jump start it, using the correct posts under the hood (look in the owners manual)? Type "owners manual" into the search box to get an online .pdf one.

The only security reset that I know of is to A) unlock the car using the remote and then B) start the car using the correct key.

The keys have a chip in them that is matched to the car.

Unless.... this is a "buy here pay here" situation and you have driven out of bounds or not paid or the shutdown system is broken. We have heard of that and you need to contact the controller.

If it's an automatic trans., have you tried the remote start ?

If it's a 5 speed, it could have a bad clutch pedal sensor.
