Won't start...

Ran fine all day yesterday. Went to start this morning, and it won't start. Tried jumping with a plug in unit, but no luck. When I turn the key, there is no crank, dash lights up, can turn the radio on.

Any ideas?

Hard to say. Check cable connections. If the battery is really run down, it might need a little charge before it will jump.

CHeck fuses.

First. Check the battery with a voltage meter and see how much it has.
12.7-12.8 range would be OK.
If the battery is charged, well it could be a bunch of other possibles.

Thanks for the response. After charging the plug in unit for an hour, decided to try again, still no luck. While sitting there, defeated, I feel the urge to take it out of park, then put it back. The car starts right up! Maybe the shifter wasn't sitting just rigjt?

Funny, but that was my initial thought about the shifter safety switch. It may be on the "way out" so to speak. You might want to have to checked out and line up a replacement part just in case.
