Racing questions

For you guys with manual transmission - do you do your burnouts in first or second gear? Are you using launch control or no lift shift? First gear seems so short and traction is so bad I wondered about using launch control but being in second gear. I have gm stage 1 plus trifecta tune, have not yet upgraded my clutch. Afraid I would break my clutch or transmission so haven't tried it yet.

The stock clutch may hold for a few runs. But you'll glass it for sure, launching in 2nd.
Your best bet would be to short shift from first to second.

Yup. I can warm them up in second but faster in first and less wear.
