Looks like there's still allot of people on the Jr. Bandwagon... I like the guy along with being a fan of Hendrick Motorsports for years, but I think he's washed up already. He may win more races but I don't think he's capable of ever winning a championship.

I've tried to figure out how he can consistantly be 17th or so week after week while running the race. Yet, Johnson runs top 3 or so. Gordon does well, but Martin took the gas this year.

It just seems like he doesn't have the same engines as two of his teammates. If I was a consipriacy theory advocate.....

I see him changing teams in the near future and someday going public on "how it never was a good fit being with Hendricks". Those in the know say he'll never leave Hendricks as he makes them too much money.

I still want to believe...

PS - Remember - he finished 2nd at Daytona!

With the new pavement, and the new front end on the cars, it changes the whole ballgame from the past Daytona's. During the Goodyear tire test last week, they were running three wide, in a tight pack, at almost 200 mph.
Me thinks Nascar, will close up the restictor plate down some more, to slow them down a little, but this year, it's gonna be a whole new ballgame. To try a pick a winner before practice or time trials, is just one big guessing game.
Daytona has a history out some dark horse comning out of the bushes at the end, and winning. Same deal this year, even more exciting.
The whole thing boils down to the last twenty laps or less, and being in the right place, at the right time, with someone to help you. With no help, you are'nt going to win.
Just as a real wild guess, I think JJ has a good shot. Until someone shows me different, I think he has a real good change, of winning his sixth championship. JJ and chad, have got the whole thing fiigured out...it's called working harder than the rest, when it matters most. My second choice would be "Srub" Aka Kyle Bush. Love him or hate him, he is one of ,if not the best driver on the track ,most of the time. Better watch the kid this year, he may come out smoking. "Moon"

Datona 500

I think JJ has good chance as any
Dale jr has not been the same since he got burned in the corvette race 3 years ago, lost his edge! wonder how much longer Mr Hendricks is going to carry him?
