It is rain today, but I got it up to 110 and still had some left. I had to slow down as I was coming up to some traffic ahead and w/ the rain I slowed it down. My wife was sitting next to me and she said, "Don't do that again." lol I think the rain was scaring her. We have so many cops on the highways here that that is the only stretch that I know of where cops never sit. I also will not try it on back roads as we have way to many deer around here.

I had the opportunity to run mine up on a private road to about 135 then "ran out of road" (125 came up very quick but 135 took a while). At about 120 the drivers side glass pulled away from the weatherstripping and wind noise was pretty loud (did anyone else notice something similar?)

my driver door does this i think its caused by too much cabin pressure try cracking open a rear window or put your air on recirculate. I live in the country and usually I will have someone drive ahead and call me and tell me if the road is clear. I usually make 2 mile runs. next time I will compare with gps over 140 they shouldda put a 160 in it.

I thought new cars have a limiter on them so they can't go over a certain speed? I know my mom's 2006 Impala would chime at 107 and say "Speed Limit" on the speedometer. I also know my Lumina will go about the same 107 and just slow down a few. I haven't tried the HHR, since I'm not as reckless as I used to be...lol. I was lucky, don't want to risk it again!

They do,the speed limiter is set at the factory by the speed rating of the tires.

I had the needle buried on my stock LS earlier today. A buddy of mine in a 350z said we were cruising at 130 but my Gtech pro only said 125. Regardless, thats not too bad for a bone stock 2.2L

Hmmmm.... My 2008 LT 2.4L seems to hit a wall about 118.... I may have to test this again if a 2.2L can hit 125.........
