This thread started out as RPO codes specific to HHR and were current when posted.

Why would we need to know what the code for Police Interceptor is? Or column shifter. Or light bar. Or 305 CID V8. Or 5.3 L V8.

The only good reason to publish any of them is to answer the question "what do all of those 3 digit codes on the glove box mean?" Most of them are bean counter things that don't mean anything to anyone else.

 

thanks Oldblue! i havent been thru EVERY post yet and hadnt seen that one. eventually i will. there are a couple rpos on mine that didnt show up on any of the other lists. some of us do want to know what all of them are no matter how insignificant they may be...

 

Agreed! The only important code I’ve used is the paint code.

 

My 2006 HHR LT has no Service Parts ID label in the glove box. Is it supposed to be in plain sight there?
Is there another location the label could be located?

The Label would be in plain sight on the inside of the glove box door.

 

Yes, on the door, the passenger side glove box ,not the center storage bin.

 

Okay, thank you very much. Someone has removed it though. Is there a website that I can give the vin # to and get all my HHR's "build with" features?
Or, will a Chevy dealership or some Chevy website provide that information for the car?

 

Go to a dealership, the parts dept might even be able to get a replacement.

I don't know why so many get removed.
