If you keep getting "kicked off" when moving from area to area, try the method that ChevyMgr uses........

So it seems to be the clearing of the cache (history, cookies and files) is where the problem lies.

But logging in two times really doesn't bother me since it never re-occurs until I clear the cache again.

****I just thought of something else I am doing that may be different. Like I said log-in to the home page then I pick a thread from the "Recent Threads" list. Doesn't matter which one you choose just choose one. From there I go to either "New Posts" or "My Posts", the system will ask me to log-in again. After that log-in I pick a post to view, then I never have to log-in again until I clear my cache. Hope this helps!

As a note to Jay's post above. Make sure you click "Remember Me". I never have to log in more than 2 times after clearing my internet history.

Also Jay is correct on the "New Posts" going away. If you are going to park on the site do it in the "Who's Online" page which refreshes often. You can get there from the Quick Links.

I have never experienced what you guys are going through. I also believe it is somehow related to "cookies". I'll ask a couple of people I work with and see if they have any answers. Makes no sense that 99% of us have no problems.

How to stop being logged off/out on the forum if you are using windows IE;

1) Clear all history and cookies. Go to tools, click delete, click delete browsing history.

2) https://www.chevyhhr.net

3) Type in user name, password and click the box to REMEMBER ME.

4) Click on any of the RECENT THREADS.

5) After the thread pulls up go to MY POSTS.

6) You will have to log in again, so repeat step 3. Make sure you click REMEMBER ME.

7) Click a thread in the MY POSTS display.

You should not have to log in again until you clear your browsing history and cookies.
