It will usually let me log in but when I try to, for example, make a post...it asks me to log in again. After relogging in about 3 times it doesn't ask me anymore!

I continue to experience no problems whatsoever. I'm not bragging, its just that the forum is behaving normally for me. I'm running Windows XP Home and IE7.

I think those that haven't experienced the problems haven't cleared their browser history, which would would explain your luck.

No problems viewing/posting with portable Firefox on my USB pen drive or WM5' IE on my IPAQ RX 4240 since both are set to remember my password info and I don't clear cache on either of the two devices

I'm up and running now with no problems it's only when I clear browsing history on my home desktop(IE7) and on my work desktop (IE6) , that the login problems crop up. And when that happens I perform the suggested login shuffle

After that log-in I pick a post to view, then I never have to log-in again until I clear my cache. Hope this helps!

Still if this is the main problem, it's an irritating problem that needs to be addressed. But now that I know how to work around it it's not so bad

Since I posted the above method, I have never cleared my cache (history, cookies, files) and I have never had to log in again. I keep my history for 21 days on 3 PC's (2 at work and 1 at home) plus on my wifes laptop, which all have different window verisons and different IE versions, and the laptop is on Vista. Since I use the forum more often then the 21 day criteria I have never had to log in again.

Even if I cleared the cache I would only have to log in twice before the site remembers me from then on.

Twice is not a hassel. How fast do we really need things to work? What better use would we put those 5 seconds of our life?

I too am having log-in issues...but ONLY when using the GALLERY.

I can post all day in the forums, but when I visit the gallery, and log-in to use my gallery, it continually asks me to log in, but when I do, I get the "thank you for logging in Smoke Wagon" screen...the browser automatically redirects me back to the gallery, but I am no longer logged in.

HELP!!???

This created a HUGE problem for me to submit my JUNE SUBMISSION entry, as I could not log in to post pictures and copy/paste them in my SUBMISSION as per the rules.

I was finally able to remain logged in after about 30 attempts.

I almost gave up!

I sort have have that log in problem also. And when I am logged in, I can't see anyones avatars or posted pictures, only codes for the pic. When I don't log in and only look as a guest, I get to see all the pretty little pictures, wow I'm better off as a guest.

I get that same thing at work, kind of. But I am sure mine is a firewall. I see avatars but a lot of posted pics are not there and some signature pics. At home I see it all.
