I sympathize with you. Unfortunately the site administrator has been incommunicado and will not give the site mods more admin rights (ie even the site moderators hands are tied)

I too have been quite disenchanted with all the login problems. The good news (I guess) is that I spend less time on the internet. I just may have to change to a "senior" membership next year.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones too! Not having any problems logging in or staying in!

Try Logging In This Way

I recently cleared my "cookies" on my PC and immediately started having log in problems. I kept logging in with the small boxes at the RIGHT top of the start page. and it would "lose" my login after a screen or two. Finally I used the larger log in screen that shows up in the center of the page. After I logged in their it has worked ever since. Give it a try

Not to argue, but I should be able to bring up the home page, log in, and that's it. Just once.

Agreed! But it seems as if a gremlin sneaked in w/ the server upgrade.

not a mac vs pc problem... when the problem occures... it happen on both of our computers at the same time. called a friend that uses a different IP and he couldn t find the site either... no page found.
nope... the log in issue most likely is the site server... (if you can trick it to work) the no page found is the DNS... DOMAIN NAME SERVERs... announces to the internet how to fine the website. lots and lots of servers keeping track and passing that information on. think someone is working on it... my page refresh has speeded up significantly in the past day.

want to see a site that finds pages fast... WINKAPEDIA

these kinda problems used to kill me (dns, routers, hubs, sat links, IP assignments... think there is one IP available for every square in on earth now)... but i am retired now
