"Serpentine D Bold" is the font you are looking for.

It's mostly Serpentine D Bold. Comparing to firemangeorge's pic, the HHR letters seem to be from a different font: they don't have serifs, and the midbar of the R isn't actually joined to the vertical. It appears to be the official Chevrolet corporate font (ie, our badges) which GM has never published as a font.

They have however published vector files of the Chevrolet logo which contains H and R, as well as many of the various model names (Traverse, Cruze, etc... but I haven't seen an HHR one yet). Just about any vector graphics software (like Adobe Illustrator) could be used to recreate the site logo text in full.

I tried what I described in Illustrator yesterday. It looks like the corporate HHR letters were fattened up a small amount, 1pt, then the angled leg of the R had the radius sharpened. If anyone is interested, I'll finish it up.

As a file yes. It would be helpful if someone had a good image of the logo to just vectorize; rather than modifying available similar fonts.

I now have an Illustrator CS5 file with a recreation of the original logo:

The main difference is the height of the opening inside the R.
