I haven't been around for a while, but I've been trying to lurk around for about the past week and there have been constant DNS issues. Yes, I'm 100% certain it's not a problem on my end.

It was down almost a full day from early yesterday evening until this afternoon. I just now searched out this post, so I haven't kept track of anything specifically, but since I haven't been around and it's been so bad for the past week I thought the site was on its way out/not being maintained... and why in the world would I consider renewing my membership? Until I found this thread, I really thought that was the case.

I'd say it's been reachable about half the time that I've tried to access the site for the past week.

This site is an amazing resource... when it's accessible.

Just wanted to say this happens to me as well, but it seems to be random-- not just when I click new posts. It seems to happen more often in the gallery.

Just FYI.

You know......

Whatever MAGICAL solutions are suggested to overcome the shortfalls of this site/server, is great to know.....and is appreciated. BUT, a member should not need to "jump threw hoops" to access the deficiencies of the site/server. ADMINISTRATION/OWNERSHIP NEEDS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES OR GET SOMEONE THAT CAN.

Would you accept this type of performance from a dealer regarding your car???

And for diagnostic purposes.....I had exactly the same problem, AT THE SAME TIME, as indicated in the above post.

I too have to log in repeatedly before I can move around the site freely. It's getting to be a real pain in my assetabulum.

Just information for the Admin. people.......

It appears the members of the corvetteforum.com are experiencing the same problems and issuing the same complaints as here. They also indicated their problems started with an upgrade, as did this forum.

One member suggests the problem is with Mzina.net (whatever that is). But that forum does appear to use the same software as this one. From the bottom of their page.....
