Satilite radio

i'm wanting to get either xm or sirrus, for my cars, but firstly not sure which one to get, and secondly is there a set up i can get that i can just like transfer to my other car? i only use one car at a time and would hate to have to pay for 2 subscriptions. The HHR i mainly just use for traveling every few months, and i have an older caviler that i use every day for prety much everything.

You will get different preferences about which satellite radio to get so I'll stay out of that one. For me, I use a Delphi Roady 2 between the two cars I drive. Both of our cars have aux inputs so it is a much better (sound-wise) set-up than the FM modulator.

i like that, how do you work the antenna? just have 2 and plug it in when you move it?

will this one work in a vehicle that doesnt have an aux input? the caviler is a 99, so it wouldnt have one.

The Roady2 and Roady XT both have built in FM modulator. When there is no aux jack plug sensed the FM modulator turns on automatically. I have an antenna in each car... I also have home antennas for the office and home (a plus for the portable solution ). However, you can take the antenna from car to car (the wires just get to be a mess).

You can find the Roadys pretty cheap on eBay, especially the Roady2. Roady XT is a bit more on price but it is more plug and play via docking versus Roady2. Good luck!
