Anyone in the Ark-La-Tex interested in a g2g?

Ive been lookin through these threads and most of them are somewhat dated. Is there anyone interested in having a G2G from around here? I live Northeast Texas and apparently I'm one of the few people active on the site in this area. There's got to be more than just me that want to do something like this.

Depends on what kind of job you're lookin for. If you're a struggling college kid, like myself, then it's pretty bad. I've been out of a job since mid-July and haven't had so much as a single call back

sucks to hear that. I only have an AA, so ill be in the same boat as you. May as well stay put for a while and wait for the economy to come back up, if it ever does. I really like east/northeastern texas though, ive drive through there a few times and its really nice. I guess its cause im used to seeing nothing but desert, that the minute I see a green tree or rain its a big deal to me lol.

back on topic, check out the Texas map, theres a few hhrs within driving distance of where youre at. (like an hour and a half or so)

Edit: looks like most of the tx members are in the dfw area... its not too far from you. its better than being the only one in the far west lol.

Interesting that there seem to be so few HHR's in the ArkLaTex area ...

Fortunately enough we know for sure now that in May I'll be one of them.

If y'all are still interested in meeting, I was able to get a group together in the WNY area before through these forums, we could probably manage something similar and coordinate efforts to get a group together in this region ... seems quite underrepresented, if you ask me.

Also considering I started seeing quite a few HHR's around when I was last in the area (December-January), it might be a prime time to see if a G2G would work for folks, probably in the summertime.
