When to go to Wurstfest

Well, folks, time to start making up our minds (assuming you're like me, first you have to find it)

First, we've gotta figure out whether we want to go Opening Day 3 November. If we go Opening Day we get in free as long as we arrive before 7 pm.

If not, then we gotta figure out whether we wanna go weekday or weekend (I'm semi-figuring that it's gonna be weekend since there are outta-towners wantin' to come).

Assuming it's weekend, we then gotta figure out whether we want first weekend (3-5 November) or second weekend (10-12 November).

Then of course, we gotta figure out what day once the initial results are in, but that could/should be another thread...

Some info to help you make up your (alleged) minds (assuming you find them). Wurstfest is like Octoberfest in Germany.

Beer: domestic and imported from Germany.

German food: Wurst, otherwise known as sausage, in several varieties; also smoked meats, and other German foods (including desserts ).

German music: Oompah bands, hope ya like to polka... and do the funky chicken (it gets played at least 4 or 5 times every night)

Normally Fri and Sat nights are pretty busy (highest attendance, making it harder to find places to sit)

Vote for ON yes/no, then vote for weekend/weekday, then vote for 1st/2nd. If most people want ON then the rest will be ignored, otherwise we'll narrow it down to a specific day as we go. I want to have a firm idea of the results of this poll in about a week, and a firm date by about the end of the month so that out-of-towners will have time to make reservations for accomodations.

I don't think I would be able to make it the first weekend, but could probably make it the 2nd weekend.
