Car show in Enterprise AL in March

This car show is always a good one.The Weevil City Cruisers have been putting on a good event for years. It takes place alongside the Piney Woods Arts and Crafts Festival so there is much more to see and do besides the car show.Susie and I have been going for years.Tons of stuff for the kids too. Here are some links: http://weevilcitycruisers.org/CarShow.htm http://www.800alabama.com/things-to-...ls.cfm?id=6111

Now that's an event I can attend. Nice and close to home. But what's your plan? Do you intend to show your car? Mine is nothing special and not really show-worthy. But it would be great to get a large group of HHRs together and cruise the town. Let me know!

No..mine is not show-worthy either. But it is a great event to visit, especially the Arts and Crafts Festival. It has been known to put a hurt on a wallet as well. And hey,if a bunch of us just happened to show up,then a cruise to the Aviation Museum nearby at Ft.Rucker might be a fun thing.Or maybe just a short drive to see "The Bug Lady" downtown. We drove up to see that museum several years ago. It was great! I loved the realistic helicopter displays. Sounds like a good plan!

My brother was stationed at Fort Rucker for years. He has retired and still lives in Enterprise. The plane he was crew chief on was used in the movie the Green Brets an he had 1 line in it.

As you all must know by now,the city of Enterprise is recovering from the tragic tornado of last week. However,as far as I know the show and festival will go on as planned.I am sure that there will be donation spots at both events to collect household items that are needed by the people who lost everything to the storm. Most of you know about the tragic event at the high school but may be unaware of the 300 or so homes that were completely demolished or severely damaged by the same tornado. If you plan to attend the show, please bring anything you can spare to help these people. Thanks,HB
