Sure the weather is nice in the winter, but you have snowbirds everywhere! It's worse than tourist season up here!!!

Florida rocks, those who do not like it should stay put...the only other place I could see me being is Cali.

Someday I'll be there for good!! Spent last week in the Tampa area, met a guy in Apollo Beach with a lowered white panel. But damn them lovebugs!!! I had a rental so I didn't care but I can't imagine driving my HHR down there, I'd be stopping every other block to clean them off!

tampa seems to have them way worse than we do right now, was just up in and am going back to new port richey next tue and they were pretty fierce up there, I was kinda suprised. Most of my driving is in town (just to the beach and back) so they do not bother me as much as those who drive at light speed everywhere.

All you complaining about the traffic, Spanish, and bugs in Florida need to come to the central time zone. The panhandle is awesome! You can actually see the beach and the ocean in spots. We have 6 months of spring and fall and the leaves turn colors just like up north. Besides, we're not far from great places like Atlanta and New Orleans. The only drawback is the number of hurricanes that head to our area. At least you know they're coming unlike tornados and earthquakes.

Uh, OBVIOUSLY you've never lived in Michigan.....where they put salt on the roads? Your "salt water" is nothing compared to this...... I'd like to see an old car that has been in Florida since new look as rusty as one from Michigan since new....
