Orlando also gets a lot of tornados generated by the numerous hurricanes. They got hit 3 times in 2004.

Yes, it's not cheap living here. And, all the illegal aliens working for pittance has kept all salaries down. Don't even ask for benefits. They are having a hard time finding teachers for the growing population who can afford to live here on their low salaries.

Personally, I'm looking for somewhere else to live when I retire.

Well...she went through a major freak out this weekend and has backed out of the move. She'll be staying in Colorado...which is fine by me. I really wasn't too big on 3 of my grandchildren being that far away.

Thanks to everyone for all their offers of help. I told her I knew I could count on my HHR friends to make sure she wasn't all alone with no one to turn to.

You guys are the best.
