What A Christmas Present

Wife and I got rear ended last night in the HHR. The right rear is bashed in pretty good and the bumper is sticking out on the left side. Also the right read wheel well is pushed against the tire and is not drivable.

Now, how long to get it fixed?

Depends on if you suffered any frame damage. Sounds like a pretty good shot, much like Stitch I's if the rear axle got damaged like that. It's a solid beam axle, which means repair = replacing the entire rear axle. If there's frame damage as well, don't be surprised if insurance totals it out.

Sorry.

Glad to hear that you are okay. You did see a doctor, right? You never know what things could set in later on down the road. See here for posting pics: How to Add Pictures to Your Post

Wow, that really sucks, esp. this time of year. It's going to be a bit difficult to be hauling Xmas presents in the Vette.

Glad to hear everybody's OK!

Got the HHR Back

Got the HHR back this evening. Looks OK but light was fading so I'll have to check during the daytime. Drives OK, as I notice no difference.
