CourthouseDeb and TomsHHR Meet

Met up with Deb tonight, had some interesting conversation over dinner. Was fun meeting her and seeing that deep look on Smoke's paint.. Look out CJ Smoke is just as shiny as your HHR.. Now after dinner we took som Pics of the Deer Slayer and Smoke together. But someone stole the flames off the Deer Slayer during dinner so it willbe a "R" rated pic due to the DS being naked..... We did find out who stole the flames after seing the plate TOMS HHR was stolen at the same time. But the Thief pulled a quick one and put his plate on the DS to fool us.. Found him headed back to California..

PSS Deb has the pics to post..

As many of you may already have heard, the infamous TomsHHR aka Deer Slayer is in Denver. We met up for a great dinner at Romano's Macaroni Grille (we both had double baked lasagne...and it was really tasty). Lots of conversation about the HHR's for sure and discussion about how to slay a deer. When we got done with dinner, we parked his rental HHR and mine next to each other and took a few pictures. It was getting dark, but picture turned out ok on mine...enough so you can see Tom between the twins.

Another funny thing that happened too, was we were talking about cameras. He pulled his out of his pocket and it's the same one I just bought a while back. Talk about having things in common. Same cameras...same color HHR's. Only difference is mine is allergic to deer.

Tom is leaving in the morning, so I'm not sure if he'll get his picture posted tonight. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Tom...thanks for dinner. The company was great and I had a wonderful time meeting you. If anyone gets the chance to hook up with him...be sure to do it, he's a really cool guy and a blast to talk to.

Well Tom...I'm sure they were expecting to see fur hanging off yours.

Besides stealing the plates and stripes, they put a satin finish on everything too.

Yep...when I left Smoke was at 3396 and he's well over that now. Really racking up the miles now.

We sure did...lots of conversation and a few laughs about several different things...mostly HHR talk and some about deer and Tom's interesting job and the travel he does. Look forward to getting together with him again next time he comes to Denver.

Once you go Orange, its hard to go another color when its there. This one was a LS, there was a Red 2LT there I was thinking of testing the ride of the sport suspension with the 17 inch tires here where there are no giant potholes to ruin the rims or tires. If they had the 16 inch tires on the 2LT I would of bought an available Orange w/sunroof and the side airbags. But I am real happy with the good ole Deer Slayer.
