Our Family Grand Canyon Trip

we went on a family vacation to phoenix and stopped on the way there in W Texas and saw Big Bend, McDonald Douglas Observatory, then to Phoenix where our church orchestra played at the Southern Baptist Convention. our pastor was president at the time. we then went to Grand Canyon and it was gorgeous.

here are some pics
words and pictures can not truly describe the Grand Canyon

Great pictures CJ...looks like you had a good time...but I can't imagine you not having fun on the road. Thanks for sharing, I know these pictures must be extra special too.

Very cool! Hopefully we will be seeing some of the Grand Canyon Run pics in a day or so too... This just whets our appetite for more!

Cool Trip

Hey CJ,

Cool pics and I bet it was an awesome trip . I just came back from the Grand Canyon about a week ago. Drove down from Canada with three of my buddies. We camped out in Zion National Park Utah and made a day trip out to the North Rim of the GC .

I was also out in Big Bend last summer doing a geology field course as part of my degree with the University of Calgary. I love the southern US. Been out there many times on roads trips, camping and hiking. You're lucky to be near such a cool part of the world, it's a long drive for me!

Here's a pic of my buddies and my loaded down HHR.
