2008 Open C ockpit Day at Castle Air Museum May 25

The Nor-Cal HHR Club will be setting up a display at this years Open C o c k pit Day (May 25) at Castle Air Museum at Atwater, California.

We have reserved both wings of the B-52 for club members to park their rides under (we should be able to get approximately 5-10 HHRs abreast, and maybe 3 or 4 deep per wing).

Set up time is 8:30am and the teardown time is 5pm. Any one, you don't have to be a member of the club, who is interested in participating can. Everyone you can stuff in your HHR will get free admission to the Museum (both inside and outside)

I need a head count for this event, as it is logistically trying for both us and the museum.

If you are interested, please post here, or you can email at karl@norcalhhrs.com

If you're a aircraft fanatic, this will be one fun day.

Karl

Open C ockpit Updated Info...

This just in...

Helicopter rides by American Helicopters.

B-25 Mitchell rides by John L. Ward III from Stockton.

I'm going to clarify those prices I got with Kat Smith (the Events Coordinator at Castle), the info in the letter I recieved from her was a little vague, after reading it four times... thanks to my dear wife who insisted those prices were a tad cheap for a B-25 ride

More info as I get it.
