Too true. Can't have overspray on the new floor.

JX3 --- great minds think alike, eh?? I love yours too - and look, we even have the same (highly versatile) type of shelving systems going LOL. You are just too cute!!

I was shocked at how quickly it went together 5 hrs and that included moving everything out and back in again. However, Dorian thought it was all over when it was over...however when he woke up this morning and couldn't move, he realized that THIS was a workout.

Ouch !! I know that feeling.. Very Nice looking floors..

My neighbor did his (probably some different material?) cause his Harley kick stand is slowly gouging thru it.. Kinda shyed me away, since I do a 'bit' of wrenching in my place.

The floor is from Racedeck http://www.racedeck.com/ Has very high rolling weight 50,000 lbs, but may not handle small pointy things as well. However, it's pretty easy to replace a damaged tile if needed, and it's made of a high-impact co-polymer engineering resin.

As for cost, lets say cheaper than most carpet or laminate flooring for the house, more expensive than indoor/outdoor carpet, epoxy paint, and a great deal on a carpet remnant :) Plus they had a killer deal for black friday.

Thanks catzcradle-

Neighbors is NOT from Race Deck, some generic brand ?? I would have remembered Race Deck..
Also He cut it to just fit. When I was first looking at it it had a buckle in the floor, I asked if he left a bit of space on each end for expansion & contraction.
Since we are in a temperate climate. No he didn't..

But he has since trimmed the edges to allow for that, & has a small plate (I gave him) on the floor where his bikes' kick stand always rests.

And it doesn't look near as good as these pics from RaceDeck.

Thanks for the info.. I have seen it advertised on some Auto shows.

I've been debating on what to do with mine. I'd like to do the coating type, but I just know there will be areas that have some fluid soaked in and won't allow the coating to stick properly. I've looked a little into these tiles, but still haven't made up my mind yet.

As nice as they look, & they sure do look Great !!!

I don't think I would ever use things like jack-stands on it..Better to do your jacking up & etc outside & keep these tile nice & unscathed..
