There's a ton of regular HHR's in the Norcal Bay area. Very few male drivers, mostly old gals, and soccer moms and such. They are running around all over the place. Very few SS's. "Moon"

I still see a ton of HHR's in the Detroit suburbs. I usually see about 10-20 a day. I have two on my street; A 07 1LT and a 08 SS. That SS owner was mostly the reason, I bought my 2010 but I soon found out, it wouldn't be fast enough for me. He let me test drive his in 2009. His mother was a patient at my previous job and I would always be talking with him about his SS. After I bought mine, I wished I would have stuck with rwd. But, I did try and do some mods to improve it. I liked my SS but the mod potential wasn't there. For a 4 cylinder, the LNF can put out great numbers/times. But, I loved my Ranger in the snow and fwd, for me, sucks in the snow. It came down to spending alot on the SS that wouldn't have good resale valve or buying something that would beat it stock, with the rwd that I liked. I could have bought a terminator but insurance/I didn't know I was going to buy a DD a couple of months later at the time, had a lot to do with it. I still don't regret my choice. As much as I loved my SS, I'm still a V8, RWD diehard.

Not saying I wouldn't pick up a 5 speed SS in the future. But, being single with no family, the SS wasn't a good fit for me.

Todd[UMA]: Man, I'd love to make it, but I have a car show that I have to work, that weekend. This year doing lots more car shows than I have for awhile, so certain weekends are booked. Maybe next year, I can make it. "Moon"

Yes, well now it's time to test our little cars' mettle. No more HHRs being built now - - so how many will be seen on the roads in 5 years? I plan to still have mine.

I right with you there mitzkity, but I have been driving the same van for 30 years so I guess having my HHR's in five years is a not much of a stretch.

I'm just hoping that in five years we're still going strong as a community, hopefully its a long time before someone has to turn out the lights and lock the doors for the last time.

"Mine's not going anywhere, in fact I plan buying a second one."

That's the spirit! Just be careful because two can turn into three pretty quick.
