Hi there fellow HHR owners that live out in the Moro Bay, Ca. area. Can you Pls give us some recommendations of things to see or do while out in Moro Bay? We are planning to make a trip there July 31st. Anyone want to meet up?

 

If you go to Morro Bay, you can of course check out the beach near Morro Rock. Highly recommend renting kayacks and cruising around in the protected bay, you can beach your kayacks and then hike in the dunes. If you are there for a couple of days, then take hwy 1 up to Hearst Castle (you will need to make reservations in advance for any of several different tours). Cambria is also a short drive further north, and great for lunch (like at Robbins). Enjoy. Going through there tomorrow myself, on my way to MotoGP at Laguna Seca.

 

Gosh a drive down Highway 1 sounds really good ... gorgeous! Be safe!
