Coast Run??
If my HHR wasent delivered on time, just before the Solvang run, I was welcomed in my VW bus! Lucky for me, my HHR arrived just in time.
I welcome an HHR owner regardless of what they chose to drive.

Sounds like a blast. I've been hosting an SSR gathering in Kingsburg each April - with a Generals Highway Roadster Run up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon Parks. Due to Road Construction that will be ongoing theu next year - I have decited to make a run from Kingsburg to Ragged Point next April (2007)...
My question to you all - would I be welcome if I brought my SSR instead of the HHR to this run???

Sounds like a reasonable question?
BTW - I recognize him from "thatotherboard" where he used to post regularly.
Welcome!
Anyone is welcome no matter what they drive. I think YOU will have more fun if you bring the HHR, although I think other people might enjoy seeing the SSR. I base this on the fact that I drove my wife's Miata on the Fiero run last year and it was not very fun. Partly because the Miata is not near the car a Fiero GT is, but mostly because I was just not part of the group. Of course, I got lots of flack from everyone considering that I am the host of the Run and didn't even bring my car!
Even though the Fiero run that I call the California Coast Run is geared mainly at Fieros, we have had plenty of other cars attend every year. It is for people who like Fieros, whether they own one of not. Last year we had 35 Fieros, our Miata, a Honda Accord, a Cadillac, and a Ford Explorer. This year is shaping up to be the biggest yet even though gas prices are outrageous, and everyone here is invited to that one too...

Songman any chance you can update the first page with the exact dates and times... We go to RV rallies all the time and love them. We just got our HHR to tow behind the Motor Home and this would be our first HHR "Run" and doing it without the Motor Home sure would save fuel... LOL

I'll most likely have at least two passengers - so the HHR will most likely make the drive - BUT, I do want to see a BUNCH of HHR's & I have been know to take a photo or two.

SATURDAY DINNER - SAN SIMEON, Pacific Blue Bar & Grill, 7:30PM

It's always fun to set uo convoys on the way to a Run. Post here for possible convoy information. We'll be leaving Bakersfield about 4PM Friday afternoon. If anyone from the South wants to meet us on I-5, let us know. If North Central folks want to meet at James Dean Memorial, let us know. Other convoys?
