Naw, it's MOPAR or NO car, but my MOPAR has a Chevy engine for power. My Ford is actually slower. I hold slow E.T. on the maverick.to site. 20.05 sec. in the 1/4 mile.

I could eat lunch and drive in that baby.

Got my registration today, so I guess I'm going to be there. Also lowered it today. It's getting cooler.

Good news...hubby's group decided that 3:30 was unnecessarily early last year, although some good naps were had, and has decided to meet at 4:30am.

Riding on their experience, I think we can easily do the same. Are ya happy? Huh? Huh?

BTW, anyone have a 10x10 popup canopy? (EZ-up) If we remember, we can bring something to lash them together with and have an unbroken row of shade.

You drive safe too, Bud - it's a long drive...I hate the grapevine worst of all!

Pray for a COLD spell...mmmmmm.

GREAT NEWS!

The Car gods are smiling on us, and there is a big cool-down coming for the Cruise!!
Slight chance of showers, but we can handle that

Schedule for Cruisin' for a Cure event.

4:30AM - Meet at Best Buy
4:45AM - 5:00AM Travel to event
5:00AM - 7:00AM Set up & Clean cars
7:00AM - Pick up goodie bag at the information booth
10:00AM - Group Picture and cake - Meet at my car

List of things that you may want to bring with you this day:

Cash - some vendors do not take checks or credit cards
Sun block or lotion
Camera
"Pop up" covers and BIG tie wraps or something to lash them together with
Chairs
Cleaning products for your car
Ice chest with drinks of your choice
Sunglasses
Hat
Comfy clothes and shoes
Think NAP! It's a long day... be prepared to get sleepy.

Guys who want to get tested at this event may want to do it early.
The line can get pretty long, the longer you wait.

Don't forget about the swap meet next door. Lots of good stuff.
