WOW, what a GREAT DAY. The only thing better than the weather was meeting and spending the day with Yonash and Kristen. The cruise will take us on the freeway, country roads, to the beach, up and down mountains, lonely curvey country roads, lakes and a several spots we plan on stopping to take pictures. Yonash and kristen have a soft ware program that they are going to put together a real NEAT map for everyone. Tuesday I will find out about a discounted price at one of the hotels in Buelton (lots of parking) and I am trying to get a catered dinner for Saturday night in Los Alamos. There's going to be a neat place for lunch also. Prices and such will be posted soon. Let me know how many of you would pay $15.00 per person for a catered BBQ dinner that Saturday night. We have planned a pretty full day of cruisen, eaten,taken pictures, cruisen, eaten and a time for shopping if you'd like. Its going to be a short time before we get the map completed but I will be posting an events calendar for the day. More info down the road as we will need more infor about the catered dinner and it will have to be prepaid. I hope they can do it for the $15.00 we tossed around Saturday.

We are good with the $15 dinner. We are staying down in Solvang but I do need to do some shopping in Buelton. Delaney is ready to go in her HHR shirt and the car goes into the shop to be repaired soon. Someone removed the bumper with a semi last week. It wasn't the mod we were talking about.

Quality Inn, (805)688-0022, 630 Avenue of the Flags, Buelton , California. If we get 10 or more rooms reserved the price will be $99.00 per night, less than 10 rooms the price is $107.00. Tell them you are with the Nor-Cal HHR Club. I told Kristi (hotel manager) that I would hope that we would have at least 20. You must have your reservations made by March 1st, 2009 in order to get the discounted price. There's lots of parking, dog friendly (add 25.00) If at the last minute you need to cancel, in order for you to get your money back, the hotel MUST be notified one week before the event. Barbara and I stayed there last week and were very happy with it. If you have any question please call me (408) 307-3611.
