OK, we have 3 more weeks for this--will it take getting to 200 posts to decide on a time to meet?

I say we try to be there at the Embarcadero @ 8am so we can get parked and ready for the show. Show starts @ 10am, so that would give us a couple of hours to get in, parked, and ready.

 

I put this idea on a earlier thread, about us meeting up before we head down south to S/D to meet up with Daryl. It's just an idea to meet at the McDONALDS in Irvine at the 5 fwy & 405 fwy meet.

I think some folks wanted to do this, Trac', it is just easier for me to go on my own and meet you all there. I have a tough day before and need the extra time for shtuff.

But of course, I can always change my mind as I am want to do sometimes!

Yes Angie, Julie is going with me.Ya i understand it might be easier for some to just head south on our own to meet up with Daryl if thats want you meant?. Then we all cruise in from there. I have no problem with that. It was just the voice's in my head talking to me again. ( oops did i say that out loud )

 

Tracy, I kind of like the idea of grabbing a fresh cup of coffee there and following you down. In fact, I really LOVE the idea of having someone to follow...even tho I'll have it programmed in the nav. Are you volunteering? Because I'll be driving right by there anyway. Also, what time did you have in mind?

 

Mitzi, it should around 1 1/2 hours to drive down to S/D. So i was thinking we could meet there around 6:00 am. Leaving McDonalds no later than 6:30am, so we meet up with Daryl around 8:00am.

Again if anybody has any other idea's i'm open for them, or different meeting time if this sounds good.

b) Head west on Sea World Drive
c) Turn right onto E Mission Bay Dr.
d) Go past the entrance to Fiesta Island about 100 yards. Parking lot is immediately on your left.(balloon A on the map link)

Departure time from Mission Bay: 0830

From there we can connect with Pacific Highway to Broadway to Kettner Blvd through Seaport Village to Embarcadero park (balloon B) in less than 20 minutes

Hi Daryl,

I understand that you had a question regarding the use of canopies at our car show.

There is no problem with using canopies, although we ask that you wait until around 10 am to put one up, to ensure that your canopy is not in another registrant's reserved space. However, we do leave a lot of space between vehicles and make a conscious effort to leave open space for canopies. Since all of your club members will be parked together, I see no reason why you should not be able to put up at least a couple of canopies.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any other questinos or comments. We really appreciate that the So Cal HHRs will be joining us this year. We hope that it is the first of many years.

Got my confirmation letter in the mail today. I really hope this turns out to be a fun show and we do this annually.
