Wow, SoCal is going to show big time! I am hoping all the San Diego peeps are going to show. We will take over this show LOL, Todd (Uma)

 

Several of you have asked where we could meet before the show and caravan into the park. Here's my idea for a meeting place and route: Parking lot just off of Sea World Drive/I-5 From there we take Pacific Highway through Seaport Village to Embarcadero park -------

Based on the assumption that we will have assigned spaces meaning we don't have to rally @ o dark thirty and to accomodate the folks from OC/LBC how about meeting @ 0730 and head into the park @ 0800? We can adjust the time if need to, but it would be an awesome sight if SoCal HHRs rolls into the show en masse

- I'll do a prerun after I get the Toy serviced this Saturday. Any tweaks to the route or meeting place will be in a followup post

Don, we can tweak the time, Flyer says check in time is between 0800-1000. But I recommend we arrive @ the show no later than 0830. I still want us to arrive as a group

Oh heck, I think we got up at like 4.00/4.30 am for the Burbank show--and I was up at 3.00 making BB's con papas for everyone! Dang, did the same for CftC last year too!

I think I know where that Mcdonalds is that Trac' mentioned (Spectrum or the El Toro Y area?), but since you are coming LB/405, and pretty much the rest of us are coming on the 5, that sounds like a good mid place where the 5/405 meet.

Quick breakfast/coffee, hit the road by 6 perhaps? Shouldn't take 2 hours to get there at that time of the morning.

JFC- ok, ok, ok- I'll get a money order from the bank today. Yea, leaving at 6 from LB sounds like a plan. I will meet you guys at the rendezvous point in SD. Sounds like fun, nice day to spend with friends down in SD.
