Fibreglass Eyelids Stockton Area
This will be my last post in this thread. I apologize to everyone for this discussion deteriorating into a veritable pissing contest.
Tomorrow, I'll send the purchase back. I hadn't planned to leave a negative feedback, I was leaning towards 'neutral'. That was when I thought the seller was an honest and forthright dealer.
My understanding of the way Ebay works is that there are two parties dealing, a buyer and a seller. The buyer makes the purchase, and the seller is supposed to leave feedback, based on the buyer's timely payment. Then, the buyer receives (hopefully) his purchase and leaves feedback, based on the item being 'as described' and shipped in a timely manner. This is how I've always done it (Aven11 can affirm that, I've made 2 Ebay purchases from him - in fact, he referred me to this site).
I have never heard of some scumbag seller blackmailing a buyer by threatening negative feedback, if the buyer leaves them a negative.
I guess I'll just have to suck it up in the future and pay the higher prices that the honest vendors here charge.
Like I said, I'm sorry this thread has gone bad.

It has always been my understanding that if a seller makes good on a product and either replaces it or refunds, then that is also grounds for a positive feedback.
Buying on eBay is not like buying at WalMart. Unless the product is grossly misrepresented the seller does not have to make a refund. Expectations are sometimes higher than what a product actually is. But the buyers higher expectations do not necessarily mean that the seller misrepresented anything.
I appreciate anyone who tries to create something for the HHR community. It sounds like the seller needs to work out a few bugs in his product and he is aware of that. My opinion as an eBay buyer and seller is that if he refunds your money then he has held up his end of the deal as well and deserves feedback that says so. I don't know the seller so am not saying this to try to help him... Just pointing out the other side of the coin on what was said about eBay feedback. (I also agree that negative feedback for negative feedback is a bad practice and will make people not want to deal with a seller.)

I didn't want this to get nasty either, but you stated your not gong to leave me Positive feedback knowing I give full refund if your not satisfied with your purchase. Here people can read my feedback.. I have gotten 1 negative from a person just like you who I offered full refund and still gave me a negative. I have only given 1 negative feedback to another seller who scammed me for 149.00. You call me a scumbag.. that I am blackmailing you! I didn't come on here and rant about my purchase.. complain about the shipping when you knew how much it was going to cost total to get it in your hands. And you bought it cause it was reasonable or you would not have bought it.
All my shipping cost is around the same for all the lids I sell. Find a person in my feed back who complains about the shipping cost. People who buy anything online or ebay look at the total cost to get it in there hands as the price there paying.

Well I met Karl (modestohhrclub) and his wife, both really nice good people..and got to see upclose the area around the headlights. It seems the gap between body and light vary even from rightside and left. I make my lids to fit the headlights edge. I suggested to Karl that it might be better to make the lids follow the body edge so we can eliminate all the gap that is there. Even vinyl sticker eyelids you cannot get rid of that gap. I think it would make a better transition and cleaner look from body to eyelids. I plan to work with Karl on this since he lives pretty close and is willing to let me use his HHR to do this.
