Kris, mine's at $331, up $57, the ride depreciates and the fees increase,. go figure. Gotta love it, got spoiled by 18 year old Mazda I guess. Much better ride now though.

 

$331 is what I paid in August & I pay an extra $30 for my personalized plates. Weird how it is calculated.

Anyhow, the CA State Constitution (Article 19, Sec. 6) mandates that car license fees are supposed to go up during tight budgetary times -- but most people just thought Davis was trying to raise fees and voted him out. Now Arnie is stuck doing the same and getting blamed for it all too, oh well.

Interesting didn't know that bit of info....mine went up from 188 to 288 (incl personalized plate fees too) in June of last year...but that wasn't why I voted the way I did
