July and SoCal HHR's

Ok, We have Groovie Lou and Lianna's BBQ on the 4th. Knowing them, you can bet its going to be an awesome event.

Looking past the 4th,

There was talk about SpeedZone. I have been there a few times and although its kinda cool, it is definately expensive and almost always packed on the weekends.

Our own Kris the Lyntmr had suggested an Angels game!

So.......Here is the 1st vote for the 19th of July, a Saturday evening game I believe.

We can get there early as she mentioned, tailgate parTAY and then hit the game.

Chime in, you Sonic Hatin, AJ lovin, Wiper removin, HHR moddin, Socal HHR's

I can do the game only!
(although I'll be wearing Dodger blue)

Escuela, trabajo, lack of dinero get in the way of all the other fun..

Sounds like this could be a plan, maybe Kris will look into this a bit farther. The tailgaiting is the best part! Todd (Uma)

well...i've never been big into sports, but as i found out being in marching band, being at a game makes it much more entertaining than the TV. never been to any kind of professional level event, of any sport. in other words, if i can arrange the days off that weekend, i'm in for a saturday game for sure! so...about how much $$ we talking for the game?

Yeah, Chris!
I think we are still trying to sort this out as there were a couple things for that day to decide on. I can only do (and afford) one, so am hoping for the game. Personally, I'd rather go to a Dodger game , but I go for the company and will gladly stay to watch Los Angelito's.

I haven't been to Anaheim Stadium in about 15 years--and I live only just miles away!

Kris--let me know if you need help planning this!

OK, this is from Kris's post:

The dates I am looking at are either July 19 or the 20th vs Boston. the game on the 19th which is a saturday is at 12:55 the one on sunday is a little later that is a 3:00 game. Let me know so I can call and see what they can do for us.

I need to get at least 25 to commit for group rates.
Thanks
Kris

Kind of torn now as if we go Saturday, we'll have to meet early for a tail-gate brunch. Sunday would give us time to have a g2g in the lot.

We can always come to my compound after the game on Saturday...but need time to plan that (meaning I may need help to set up )

I vote for Sunday. Easier all the way around. All day in the sun doesnt sound so good.

The only time I ever went to the Big A was for the Freeway-Series games. Saved us a trip out to Chavez Ravine! Yes Charles, they do play baseball!

I'm thinking this may be the best solution too.

I think we just need 25 people, not 25 cars!
For an impromptu g2g last weekend, we proved we could do it!

@ngelita
( I really should do some work today )
